Wax Museum is dedicated to Wayne Shorter.


Turning Table is a comment on the changing face of global politics during George W. Bush’s first term, and a since-unfulfilled wish for the outcome of the 2004 presidential election (the original version also featured tablas instead of drumset).


Evil Genius is dedicated to my teacher, the late, great jazz educator Charlie Banacos, and uses some of his concepts for composition and improvisation.  Fellow Banacos students may also recognize the intro.
